Russia’s Sputnik and Baltnews journalists accused of violating EU sanctions

Criminal proceedings have been launched by the Baltic state of Latvia against employees of Baltnews and Sputnik Latvia news agencies, who are accused of violating EU sanctions. Moscow made a statement saying that the cases run against the freedom of speech and are ‘completely unacceptable.’
