The business and trade minister was asked what a responsible budget would look like ahead of Chancellor Jeremy Hunt's financial statement tomorrow.

Greg Hands has told Sky News it is up to the King when asked whether the royal should apologise for the role his family played in the slave trade.

Caribbean nations say "now is the time" for the King to say sorry for his ancestral involvement in the trade.

Mr Hands also said the election of George Galloway to the Rochdale seat "was not a good day for the country".
