Members of the Royal Family, including King Charles III, Princes William and Harry, and Princess Anne, marched behind the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday in London as a procession took it from Westminster Hall where it had laid in state to Westminster Abbey.

The coffin was loaded onto the State Gun Carriage of the Royal Navy and carried to the west gate of the abbey for the funeral. The carriage had previously been used for the funerals of Queen Victoria, King Edward VII and King George V and was drawn by 142 members of the Royal Navy.

The funeral follows the queen lying in state in the hall for the past several days, in which members of the public, dignitaries and the Royal Family visited her to pay their respects.
