Republican and Democrat to face off in first TV clash of presidential race

Joe Biden and Donald Trump are facing off in the first election debate of this year's US presidential campaign.

Long-serving CNN anchors and veteran broadcasters Jake Tapper and Dana Bash will be moderating proceedings - which will last for around 90 minutes.
