Rail strikes: Union boss 'targeting the Tory party conference'

The rail network will be hit by more strikes as the ASLEF union, which represents drivers at 19 train companies, will see its members walk out on Saturday 30 September and Wednesday 4 October.

Mick Whelan, ASLEF General Secretary, responded to the Transport Secretary's comments on Sky News, saying: "We are targeting the Tory party conference but it's not politically motivated."
