The Israeli bombardment is forcing Palestinians into ever-smaller areas in the south of the Gaza Strip.
A makeshift camp in the desert in Rafah is growing by the day. But there’s nothing there – no shelter, no food, no aid and no toilets. And to get there, Palestinians must make a dangerous journey down a road controlled by the Israeli army and under the constant threat of Israeli attacks.

Al Jazeera’s Hashem Ahelbarra reports and Hani Mahmoud is in Rafah in southern Gaza for the latest updates.
