Raab Resigns: Oliver Dowden appointed Deputy Prime Minister

Oliver Dowden, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, has now been appointed deputy prime minister, Downing Street has confirmed.

Sky's political editor Beth Rigby has described Mr Dowden as a "key ally" of Rishi Sunak who will replace Dominic Raab in the post.
