Qatar has built seven new stadiums specifically for the World Cup, which begins on November 21.
The stadiums hosting the first World Cup in the Middle East are considered architectural mirrors of Arab culture and heritage.
By using recycled materials, reducing construction costs and developing green and living spaces near stadiums, Qatar is hoping to create monuments to sustainability that will inspire future World Cup hosts.

Al Jazeera’s Natasha Ghoneim reports from Doha, Qatar.
