The Lahore High Court has sought answers from the parties on the petition against the detention of 453 workers of Akistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).


Tehreek-e-Insaf's order of detention of 453 party workers was challenged in the Lahore High Court, Justice Alia Neelam heard the petitions of Chaudhry Zubair Ahmed and others.

According to the petition, the Punjab government detained the PTI workers on the basis of the May 9 incident.

Later, the court issued a notice to the Punjab government and others and sought their response on May 23.
