An unauthorized demonstration took place in Greiz, Germany, where local police were deployed to patrol the rally against COVID restrictions. According to the authorities, about 50 vehicles, as well as water cannon, were deployed to disperse around 500 protesters throwing pyrotechnics, bottles and eggs at the officers.
