Mirror Group Newspapers have issued an "unreserved apology" for any historical wrongdoing - after the High Court ruled that Prince Harry had been the victim of phone hacking and awarded him £140,000 in damages.

Harry has now called on the police to investigate the firm, describing a "systematic practice of unlawful and appalling behaviour, followed by cover ups". Former Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan has furiously denied knowledge of any hacking on his watch.
