Primodos: Families lose bid for compensation over pregnancy drug test

The families of people who claim they suffered from adverse effects from the drug, Primodos, have lost the latest round of a legal battle to get compensation.

More than 200 campaigners were involved in the legal action. They say the drug, prescribed in the 1960's and 1970's to determine if a woman was pregnant, caused serious birth defects.
