As tensions ramp up at the Belarus-Poland border, Polish authorities stood guard at a fence on Sunday with heavy equipment and water cannon, where Belarusian migrants were trying to cross.

Plus, the Belarusian State Border Committee has released a video on Sunday showing a group of people caught between barbed wire fencings, guarded by unidentified servicemen.

According to the committee's statement, migrants had become stuck in the fences at the checkpoint Kuznitsa on the Polish side.

Thousands of migrants have travelled to Belarus with the hope of crossing into the European Union, only to find themselves trapped at the border in freezing conditions.
