Police to investigate Prince Charles' charity over ‘cash for honours

When allegations about Prince Charles and his former aide, Michael Fawcett, were first published in the Sunday Times Clarence House said Charles had "no knowledge" of the alleged cash-for-honours scandal. (Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)

That was last September. Today police said Charles' charity, the Prince's Foundation, was under investigation over claims it offered honours to a Saudi citizen in exchange for cash for the charity. The Metropolitan Police announced it was investigating a possible breach of the Honours Prevention of Abuses Act.
