Police probe "white replacement" conspiracy theory in Buffalo supermarket shooting

In the aftermath of the Buffalo mass shooting, investigators are now looking into the "white replacement theory," also known as the "great replacement theory."

It's the racist notion white Americans are being replaced with immigrants and people of colour. Ben Crump, a lawyer for one of people killed by the gunman in Buffalo, also named what he called "accomplices to the mass murder" - the right-wing pundits, websites, and cable news hosts who he says curate and inspire the hate, and espouse the baseless theory.

Eric Sorensen explains how this hateful conspiracy has moved into the mainstream and its connection to the Buffalo shooting.
