Dashcam video from a Fairfax County, Va. police vehicle captured the unbelievable moment an out-of-control car nearly ran over an officer during a traffic stop on Monday morning.

Deputy chief Bob Blakley said in a news conference that the black BMW M3 had been travelling well over 120 miles per hour, or nearly 195 km/h, when it lost control and spun onto the opposite lane, hitting a grey Sedan that was stopped for the traffic violation. "The vehicle lost control because cars can't go that fast on the highway."

According to reports, the 17-year-old driver of the BMW and two passengers had minor injuries. The driver of the grey Sedan was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The police officer also had minor injuries.
