The country stands with the heroes we lost, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said days after Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat and 11 defence personnel were killed in a helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu. Speaking at an event in Uttar Pradesh, the Prime Minister said all efforts are being made to save Group Captain Varun Singh, the sole survivor of the crash, who hails from UP's Deoria.
