People with disabilities face greater risk of COVID-19 infection, death: Study

Although the COVID-19 pandemic uprooted many lives of Canadians, a new study from United Kingdom has found the coronavirus has disproportionately affected those with who have intellectual disabilities.

According to the findings, those with intellectual disabilities faced risks of hospitalization or death three times higher than the general population.
