People trapped in homes in deadly Italy floods

Italy's second deadly storm this month comes less than four weeks after the country’s worst drought in 70 years.

At least three people have died and thousands have been forced to evacuate their homes as floods hit northern Italy.

It’s the region’s second deadly flood this month - at least two people died in a storm at the beginning of May. One person was swept away by flood waters while riding a bicycle.

They come just one month after northern Italy’s worst drought in 70 years.
