The General Secretary of the Trade Union Congress, Frances O'Grady said "people need help now," in relation to the cost of living crisis.

She also criticised Rishi Sunak's handling of the Spring Statement saying that he "woefully failed working families," before calling for a windfall tax on energy companies, more investment in renewable energy and a boost in the minimum wage.
