The war in Gaza is nearing the seven month mark and has left over 30,000 Palestinians dead, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. This week, an Israeli strike on a World Central Kitchen convoy killed seven of those aid workers, sparking international outrage. The incident prompted a call between President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where he called the situation "unacceptable," and called for an immediate cease-fire in the war. Israel said the strike on the convoy was a mistake and launched an investigation into the situation.
