60 Minutes interview with Paul Simon ahead of his 1991 Australian concert tour. "He might be pushing 50, but he has millions of fans around the world, who all agree his music is timeless. He's been at it for 30 years. First, as one half of Simon and Garfunkel - then as a solo performer. In the 80s, Simon fell in love with African music and produced a blockbuster album. Now, he's picked up a South American beat and has been a success on the charts all over again. Jennifer Byrne went on tour with Paul Simon in the United States, on the eve of his arrival in Australia. As well as filming him in rehearsal and in concert, they sat down to talk about his life, his loves and his music."
