It's been 11 days since violence broke out in the Middle East, in part due to a proposed eviction of Palestinian families from an Israeli-occupied neighbourhood in Jerusalem.

While a cease-fire has been announced, there is a cycle to this conflict that keeps repeating itself and it all stems from a fight over land that Jews and Palestinians both believe belongs to them.
