Palestinians in the occupied West Bank are also struggling with chronic water shortages.
Israel controls all water resources in the territory - and has reduced the Palestinian share by a third - further worsening the crisis.
Illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, however, have unfettered access to water, and consume six times the volume available to Palestinians.
