Nurses could be on strike 'up until Christmas', says RCN

Nurses could continue to hold strikes "up until Christmas" if the current dispute over pay is not resolved, the general secretary of the Royal College of Nursing has told Sky News.

Pat Cullen was speaking as her union staged a 28-hour walkout - a period which was truncated after judges ruled the mandate to withdraw labour expires at midnight on 1 May.
