N.S. premier pleads for federal government support to combat wildfires

In a letter to the federal government today, Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston asked Ottawa for immediate and long-term help with battling wildfires and housing residents displaced from their homes. 'This is not the time for paperwork. This is the time for action and response,' Houston said.
