A powerful winter storm is making its way through the US and Canada, bringing with it massive amounts of snow and extremely low temperatures.
It has been called a "once in a generation" event, and it is disrupting travel during one of the busiest times of the year.
Climate scientists have said climate change has made storms such as this one more frequent and more powerful during the past 70 years.
