Nightmare before Christmas: Wave of strikes to cause festive frustration

Millions of people face disruption over Christmas as airport workers join the list of unions walking out for the festive period.

Civil service members and Border Force officials are the latest workers to announce walkouts.

The action will affect airports such as Heathrow and Gatwick and comes on top of strikes by RMT workers that will affect rail services over Christmas.
