Thousands of fans met the Buffalo Bills in the freezing cold early on Sunday morning after the NFL team clinched the AFC East title for the first time in 25 years.

Footage recorded at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport showed fans of the team awaiting the players’ flight from Denver.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m. local time, the Buffalo Bills' plane landed in Western New York to a horde of fans waving flags and cheering.

Also, local resident Matthew Wach, in a clip shared by his wife Mandi, showed how excited he was following the game, captured just before 2 a.m. at their home in Buffalo. Still reeling from the victory, Wach can be seen in this Ring doorbell footage strumming an air guitar and holding up the number one before entering the house.

The Bills beat the Denver Broncos 48-19 on Saturday, resulting in the team’s first AFC East championship victory since 1995.
