A New Brunswick family is alleging the RCMP mistakenly told them their son was dead after a body was found in a public washroom outside Moncton City Hall earlier this week.

On Tuesday, Donna Price said a third party went to her son's residence to collect some belongings and paperwork required by the coroner's office, only to receive a call that said her son was at home and alive.

As Suzanne Lapointe reports, the family is now seeking answers as to how the alleged misidentification could have happened.
