Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the war with Hamas will continue for 'many more months'.
In the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces are shifting their offensive against Hamas farther south, where Netanyahu said they aim to take control of Gaza's border with Egypt.
In the last 24 hours, air strikes and artillery fire there have killed dozens of civilians, according to the Hamas-run health ministry.
Rockets continue to be launched into Israel from Lebanon and Gaza by militant groups, including Hamas, which is considered a terrorist organization by multiple countries.
