Myanmar future: Civil disobedience campaign begins after military coup

In Myanmar's biggest city, Yangon, citizens banged pots and honked car horns in a campaign of civil disobedience as the fragile democratic state came under military rule.

A relative whose father was arrested says she awaits international help as nations outside of the region take in the events of a year-long state of emergency.

The coup has been met by international condemnation and the US may review aid, according to its State Department.
