A crackdown on anti-establishment protesters is under way in Thailand, as the government pursues more than 50 cases under the country's strict law on insulting or defaming the monarchy.
Known as lese majeste, the laws had not been enforced for years but have come into play recently because of mass protests calling for political reform.
