Mother of Alexei Navalny 'given ultimatum' by Russian officials over son's burial

Alexei Navalny's mother says she has been handed an ultimatum by Russian authorities - she must agree to a secret funeral for her son, or he will be buried at the prison colony where he died.

Lyudmila Navalnaya had to wait six days after her son's death before being allowed to see his body, and was then given just three hours to make her decision over his burial.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow to mark Defender of the Fatherland Day - but made no reference to Mr Navalny, the man who challenged him beyond all others.
