Federal police rescued a mother and child who were trapped on the roof of a house during deadly floods on Tuesday (September 5). A video shared by the police through Facebook showed an officer hanging from the helicopter with a security rope carrying the child from the rooftop to safety on dry land. The mother and child, who were trapped after the overflow of the Taquari river, were reunited moments later.
