The UN estimates that 300,000 people have been affected by the Morocco earthquake but behind the numbers are countless stories of grief and loss.

Rural communities have been the hardest hit and hard to reach because of the mountainous terrain.

In towns and villages that are accessible, residents are mourning the dead and pleading for more help.
