Migraines are the most significant, non-traditional risk factor for strokes among adult males and females under the age of 45, according to research published in the American Heart Association journal. The findings can be used to screen younger adults for stroke risk, checking for migraines, as well as blood clotting disorders, kidney failures and autoimmune diseases.
