Mexico begins vaccinating elderly against COVID-19

In the second phase of its vaccination programme against the coronavirus, Mexico began giving its senior citizens in more than 300 municipalities across the country on Monday shots.
It received approximately 870,000 doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine over the weekend.
The programme was carried out in mainly rural areas.
