Mexico arbitrary detentions: UN urges investigation and compensation

A group of UN experts investigating arbitrary detentions has ended its visit to Mexico.
Its members have urged the government to investigate cases of human rights abuses.
While arbitrary detentions are not unique to Mexico, human rights experts have said that the impunity and widespread corruption within the justice system mean it is a problem with no easy solution.
