Mayor of Brampton, Ont., calls on Ottawa for more funding for asylum seekers

The City of Brampton is battling with the federal government over funding for asylum seekers. Last November, an asylum seeker died in the cold after waiting hours for a shelter space, while a woman died in February facing the same conditions, both in nearby Mississauga. Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown says the funding Ottawa has agreed to provide falls short.
