Former government minister Ann Widdecombe says Matt Hancock should not go on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here while serving as an MP.

The former health secretary had the Conservative whip withdrawn after revealing he would be appearing on the reality TV show in the Australian jungle.

Ms Widdecombe, who appeared on Strictly Come Dancing after retiring, said serving politicians "had a duty of dignity" while in office.
