This big racket of religious conversion came to light when the father of a youth living in Ghaziabad brought a complaint to the police. What the father told the police was quite surprising. He told that his son used to come out of the house five times a day for the last several days, when he was asked, he told that he was going to the gym. When the father could not digest the matter of going to the gym five times a day, he followed him, then came to know that he was not going to the gym but to the mosque to offer Namaz. When the matter reached the police, the investigation started, the minor told that he had bought an online game from a person in Mumbai, after which the person was in constant contact with the child and was brainwashing him for religious conversion. After this, when the police started the investigation, it was found that the accused person had targeted many more children in the same way.
धर्म परिवर्तन के इस बड़े रैकेट का तब खुलासा हुआ जब गाजियाबाद में रहने वाले एक युवक के पिता पुलिस में शिकायत लेकर आए. पिता ने पुलिस को जो बताया वो काफी हैरान करने वाला था. उन्होंने बताया कि उनका बेटा पिछले कई दिनों से दिन में पांच बार घर से बाहर निकलता था, जब उससे पूछा गया तो उसने बताया कि वो जिम जा रहा है. दिन में पांच बार जिम जाने की बात जब पिता को हजम नहीं हुई तो उन्होंने उसका पीछा किया, तब पता चला कि वो जिम नहीं बल्कि मस्जिद में नमाज पढ़ने जा रहा था. मामला पुलिस तक पहुंचा तो जांच शुरू हुई, नाबालिग ने बताया कि उसने मुंबई के एक शख्स से एक ऑनलाइन गेम खरीदा था, जिसके बाद शख्स लगातार बच्चे के संपर्क में था और धर्म परिवर्तन के लिए उसका ब्रेन वॉश कर रहा था. इसके बाद पुलिस ने जांच शुरू की तो पता चला कि आरोपी शख्स ने कई और बच्चों को भी इसी तरह टारगेट किया था
