मणिपुर की घटना के बाद पूरे देश में नाराजगी फैली हुई है. इस मुद्दे पर संसद के दोनों सदनों में मानसून सत्र के तीसरे दिन हंगामा जारी रहा. विपक्षी सांसद इस मामले पर सदन में पीएम मोदी (PM Modi) के बयान की मांंग कर रहे हैं. जबकि सत्ता पक्ष का आरोप है कि विपक्षी दल इस मुद्दे पर चर्चा से भाग रहे हैं.विपक्षी दलों के गठबंधन इंडियन नेशनल डेवलपमेंटल इन्क्लूसिव अलायंस (इंडिया) के घटक दलों ने सोमवार (24 जुलाई) को भी मणिपुर के मुद्दे पर पीएम मोदी से संसद के दोनों सदनों में बयान देने और चर्चा की मांग जारी रखी. इस मांग को लेकर इन पार्टियों के सदस्यों ने संसद भवन परिसर में प्रदर्शन किया संसद परिसर में हुए विपक्षी सांसदों के विरोध प्रदर्शन में कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष और राज्यसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे, जनता दल (यूनाइटेड) के राजीव रंजन सिंह उर्फ ललन सिंह, द्रमुक के टीआर बालू, आम आदमी पार्टी के संजय सिंह, राष्ट्रीय जनता दल के मनोज झा और अन्य पार्टियों के सांसद शामिल हुए. उन्होंने 'प्रधानमंत्री सदन में आओ' के नारे भी लगाए सोमवार को संसद के मानसून सत्र की कार्यवाही शुरू होते ही राज्यसभा और लोकसभा में मणिपुर के मुद्दे पर पीएम मोदी के बयान की मांग को लेकर विपक्षी सांसदों ने हंगामा शुरू कर दिया. विपक्ष के विरोध के दौरान राज्यसभा सभापति ने आप सांसद संजय सिंह को मानसून सत्र की शेष अवधि के लिए निलंबित कर दिया
