Major parts of Kumasi to experience power outage until December - Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG)

The Electricity Company of Ghana has asked customers in the Ashanti region to cope with the recent power outages until December of this year. Managing Director, Kwame Agyemang Budu, says the company is working with GRIDCO and the Energy Ministry to correct anomalies in the system. He confirmed a drop in the water level of the Bui hydro-power station is one of the reasons accounting for the challenges.
