Power is out in Gaza.
All basic services including hospitals are at risk.
Gaza's only power plant ran out of fuel earlier on Wednesday, a result of Israel's total siege.

At least 1,100 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes.
The UN Relief and Works Agency says at least 187,000 Palestinians have been displaced. Most are sheltering in UN-run schools.

And at least 1,200 Israelis have been killed since Hamas launched its military offensive on Saturday.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and opposition leader Benny Gantz have agreed to form an emergency unity government and a war cabinet.

Al Jazeera’s Youmna El Sayed has more from Gaza.
