Boris Johnson defended the photo showing him with a number of aides drinking wine in the Downing Street garden during last May's lockdown, insisting that they were "at work, talking about work".

Labour called it a "slap in the face of the British public", and it's all turning into yet another headache for the government after a turbulent week.
