Life support for brain-damaged Archie should end as High Court rules he is dead

A High Court judge has ruled that 12-year-old Archie Battersbee is brain stem dead and his life support should be switched off.

Specialists at the Royal London Hospital say he has shown "no discernible brain activity".

Archie's mother, Holly Dance, says she's "devastated" and will appeal the decision.
