Lebanon’s caretaker prime minister has been charged in connection with the Beirut port explosion, which devastated the city.
Hassan Diab and three former ministers are accused of negligence.
About 200 people were killed in the August 4 disaster, with thousands injured and many more left homeless.
The explosion was caused by a stockpile of ammonium nitrate, which was improperly stored at the port for six years.
The four are the senior-most figures to be indicted in the investigation, which has been criticised for its secrecy and lack of progress.
