As the war in Ukraine grinds on, the Baltic states watch anxiously from their ringside seats, pressing the West to increase aid to Kyiv and make sure Russia doesn’t win. Latvia's Foreign Minister Krišjānis Kariņs says it's clear NATO has to up its game.

He also told DW's Tim Sebastian that the alliance is moving towards "a war footing," but needed to do so quicker.

So how ready is NATO to take on an expansionist Russia?
