King Charles attended an annual Easter church service in Windsor, England, on Sunday, marking the monarch’s first major public appearance since his cancer diagnosis back in February.

Joined by his wife, Queen Camilla, the King waved to and even greeted some members of the public outside of St. George’s Chapel — where his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth, lays.

Though King Charles attended the service, his son Prince William and his family did not make an appearance.

Princess of Wales Kate Middleton was initially expected to make an appearance. However, after announcing her own cancer diagnosis earlier in the month, she had asked for time to recover and for privacy with her family.
